Y's Owl Maclure maintains a lending library of sexuality resources for individuals with disabilities. These resources are useful for:

  • an individual who wishes to have more information
  • a family or caregiver who is supporting an individual to work through these issues
  • the purposes of sexuality education in a classroom or program setting
  • support groups
  • students studying in the DSW program or social services

Resources are available for borrowing to individuals with disabilities, their families, caregivers, agencies, schools or people working in this field. The library is well used and it is recommended that you call ahead to determine if the resource is available or out on loan.

The library is located at 1140 Morrison Drive, Suite 100 and is open during our regular office hours 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday to Friday.

Y's Owl Maclure is also the site for meetings for the Sexuality Network of Ottawa Carleton, an association of service providers. For information on this group, call Suzanne Ford at 721-1500.
