The Owl Cafe

The Owl Café & Meeting Place is a social enterprise that operates under Y’s Owl Maclure Co-operative Centre. We offer a wide range of support and services for individuals with autism and developmental disabilities.

We are proud to share a video highlighting The Owl Café and Meeting Place, a social enterprise operated by Y’s Owl Maclure Co-operative.

The Owl Café is more than a café – it is an inclusive community space where people can work, socialize, connect and come together. It creates meaningful employment opportunities for people with disabilities and Autistic people within a welcoming and supportive environment. Here, employees gain valuable skills and experience, build confidence and recognize their strengths and potential.

We believe everyone has something valuable to contribute. When people are given opportunities, encouragement and the right support, confidence grows, talents emerge and remarkable things can happen.

Through the Owl Café, we also hope to inspire other employers to recognize the committed, capable and diverse workforce ready to contribute to their businesses and communities.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who played an integral part in bringing this video to life. It reflects the dedication, care and teamwork that goes into the work everyone does each and every day. We are incredibly grateful to our co-op members, staff teams, board members, families and community for helping make Y’s Owl Maclure and The Owl Café such amazing places.
